[Duncan]
"Good, very good," he nodded. He was currently engaged to Hayden and very happy about it. "So you guys set a date yet or what?"

"Congratulations. Am I invited?" She teased as she slipped her feet out of her shoes and tucked her feet beneath her in the poofy chair she occupied. "We haven't even gotten the plans yet." Triston laughed. She and hunter had been engaged for three years.

"Well of course," he grinned. "Hunter's stubborn huh? Maybe he's got something spectacular planned out," he shrugged. "Hey You never know. Give us men some credit why don't yah."

"Well maybe you should talk to him. We both are huge procrastinators. What about you and Hayden?" She asked him, cocking her head to thes ide and smirking.

"Who knows...It's always a mystery," he joked. The subject hadn't really come up yet, so he wasn't sure. "And I will talk to him."

Tossing her head back she laughed before cocking her head to the side and just smiling at him, shaking her head. "You crack me up Duncan. Guess we need that in our line of work hmm?" Toying with a strand of hair she pulled out her next appointment which wasn't for another hour.

As she pushed open the door, not bothering to knock she looked slightly flustered. This week was just getting worse, between Cassandra back for revenge, Gabriella's ridiculously high stress levels, the fight with Delilah, her pregnancy and the fact that she hadn't seen Corbin enough lately... well lets just say she was bordering pissed off.
Throwing herself into the empty seat in front of her best friend, she threw the man a smile, she wasn't sure she knew him, but hadn't really looked hard enough. Meeting Triston's eyes, she dropped the smile. "Ok do your stuff," her eyes held no humour, she was serious, Alli always seemed so much better when she came back from Tristons. Tossing her thick dark curls in annoyance she crossed her bare legs, and simply stared at her friend expectantly. "Shoot."

"She finished her service for this week at Azkaban yesterday, so she's set for that. She'll have another set next week." Triston smiled at her friend, who looked like it'd been one of those weeks. Triston couldn't say she knew how she felt but then again she didn't want to. "How you feelin' hun?" Her smile genuine.

Letting an exasperated sigh leave her lips she leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes briefly, she knew Triston wasn't being entirely honest with her, but she also knew better than to push, confidentiality and everything, plus she didn't need more on her case at the moment, and having to deal with why Alli was acting so weird would certainly count as more.
Kneading her eyes with her eye, she must have looked like a tired child, though she had never felt so old this week. Meeting her friends gaze she managed a small smile, forcing down the feelings that bothered her so much, she needed Corbin, all they seemed to do at the moment was either discuss the twins, or work, or the order, either that or they were busy with the physical side of their relationship. At the moment she would give anything just to sit down and talk to her fiancee about her worries and the baby. They hadn't even picked out possible baby names, or even picked a nursery and she was almost four months gone now, sure she had a while to go, but they couldn't ignore it any more.
The tired child turned into a sulky one as she tried to sum it up in words. "I feel lost... confused..." cracking a wry smile she shook her head. "Basically love, I feel 17 again."

[Duncan]
As he saw Gabby enter he got up, "Another time," he nodded and walked out, closing the door behind him before she had a chance to say anything.

Watching Duncan exit she shook her head. Some days she just didnt' understand. Laughing she looked at Gabby. "He's the lunch bitch." She concluded. "Well everything will be fine, we're ten years older now so I'm sure we can deal much better. Get a job." Triston teased, tossing a tissue at her friend.

Catching the tissue she cracked another smile, knowing she should feel guilty for forcing the guy from the room, but she had no time for other peoples feelings, unless they were targetted by crazy psychos.
"I have a job remember," it was hardly a job, she went down to the club every so often to make sure it was still there, it had become too tempting around all the alcohol so she spent most of her days at home with Twinky. "I'm like one of those trophy wives, sit there and do nothing and I'm not even a wife!"

"Well...you can help me out here. I have my body buried in paper work." Triston wiggled her eyebrows hoping to tempt her friend. Triston also had a lot of wedding plans to do. "When we going shopping for a wedding dress?" She threw in there, hoping Gabby caught the hint.

Shrugging slightly she looked down at her nails and admired them silently before scolding herself for living up to the trophy wife thing. Looking back up she smiled. "Sure I'd love to help you," though the dress comment hadn't exactly passed over it she took it from the wrong angle. "Well Corbin gave me a magazine the other day and I found a perfect one..." trailing off slightly she gave her friend a puzzled look. "You mean...?"

"Maybe...." Triston smiled, sticking her tongue out in her smile, her teeth holding it in place. Her fingers twirled her engagement ring around her finger. They'd been engaged for years it seemed, she didn't mind that they hadn't wed yet, but that didn't mean she wasn't insanely excited.
