The bar was cute, flashing lights, pink, cocktails... very Hunter. Though to her pleasure it seemed no more popular than her own, that was how she'd have it, both clubs equal, not that the takings would really effect her, if it was money she was bothered about, she'd rather her best friend and her fianceé won hands down.
No doubt in time the flashing lights would become too much and she would have to lie down, the realisation made her feel about 40, hell she was only barely 27, it wasn't her fault she couldn't drink. A deep breath of air escaped her as she spun back to the bar on her chair, flashing the bar tender a polite smile, before cutting his advances short with her eyes. It amazed her that guys still tried to pick her up, it wasn't that she thought she had lost her looks, she was still as gorgeous as ever, but she was quite obviously pregnant! Hardly a fit state for a one night stand.
Twirling the cocktail stick in her slender hand she took a bite from the cherry skewered on the end and smiled, now all she needed was the drink to go with it, though she knew she would never have it. There was no way she was going to increase her chances of harming this baby, the stress alone was worrying her, which in turn increased her worry and her stress, it was like an endless circle.
