He laughed softly as they seemed to think that was the extent of his magical ability. It was funny that, as he was capable of things people could only perform in their dreams. Not that most wizards would want to perform some of the Dark Magic he could do.
The storm roared overhead and Dante slashed his wand downwards, a vicious, deafening thunderbolt hurtling from a jet black cloud. It took a split second to strike the ground mere feet away from Cassandra, connecting with the hard rock feircely. He didn't aim for her. If he had, it would have been a dure kill. No doubt she'd laugh it off as basic - which is was in a way, as he could do much more - but it was still a very advanced piece of magic.
He waited once more to see any sort of retaliation. he wasn't going to throw things at them all day. His last 'attack' wasn't really an attack of sorts, as he hadn't intended to hit her. But who knew what she would make of it?

Anybody else might of been moved by the lightning strike near them. Not so with Cassandra. She'd been lost in almost a communion like state, but even had she not been, it was unlikely that she would of feared it. Death was only one side of the coin. Those that couldn't see that were only look at their short-term, near meaningless shells of existence. With a evil little smile, she turned around, to face Dante and giggled "Pretty lights. Let me introduce you to one of your wonderful suggestions. I had him come here ahead of time just in case accidents happened on our way out. Never can be too careful these days"
As she spoke, from the clifface rose a serpentine head, just the beginning of a thirty foot long monster snake, a basilisk if truth be told, albeit a young one. It coiled behind her, and she knew that nobody there would be foolish enough to look in their direction

He knew exactly what she had meant before the giant snake had appeared. He slowly turned his head to the side, so as to not make contact with the basilisk's eyes. He was an extremely powerful wizard, maybe even the most powerful, but there was no magic on earth to counter a basilisk's stare.
He wasn't afraid though. He knew he'd still be able to react if Cassandra or the snake attacked, though he was almost certain they wouldn't. "It's nice to know that you take what I say seriously," though there was an almost undetectable hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Though you appear to have underestimated me." He had of course, not had any problems breaking them out of Azkaban. Just like he had no problem breaking her out of St. Mungos.
