The famous Diagon Alley was strangely emtpy as the woman walked down the street, it seemed everyone had been taking note of the increase of muggle and muggleborn hate crimes, and had prefered to stay home where it was safe and easy to defend.
Wrapped up in her thick coat she couldnt have felt further away from that particular threat, her mind was busy thinking about the wedding and Cassiopia, the girl had so far settled in, but the twins hadn't met her yet, and Corbin hadn't really, he'd been working too much. No matter how much she told him it was pointless, that they had enough money to retire at the age of 2, he didn't listen, though she envied him that he kept so busy.
For once she had abandoned her heels and had gone for comfy pumps that matched her white drainpipe jeans, it was becoming harder to force herself to hold herself proud in heels at the moment, she felt like collapsing on the couch and sitting still for the next 5 months until the baby was ready to come out. Yet she was too busy, she'd taken on a responsibility and she was determind to stick to it.

Angelius had been walking through Diagon Alley simply doing some shopping for some magical supplies for his own shop in Knockturn Alley. He knew that while he liked the scent of the dead, most people did not to he was going to mix together a different preservative that would hopefully work the same as the muggle embalming fluid he was so used to using. He was sure it didn't matter though. Since he became one of them. he could smell variations of life or death everywhere he went, especially in places where there were lots of people.
Like in this case, when one of his former classmates, he couldn't remember her name right away, walked towards where he was standing, musing over something he saw within the pet shop. He smiled life on her, two lives actually. One had yet to fully develop but it was draining a bit of life from the other to maintain itself until it reached full maturity. He couldn't help but smile. Was this the same woman who had had children in high school?

When there were few people on the streets it made her uneasy and today was no exception, she had visions of Cassandra popping out of every nook and cranny that she found. Frowning slightly she clutched her bag tighter where she held it on her shoulder. A man appeared and Gabriella glanced at him for a few seconds, she didn't think she knew him, but he was strangely familiar, this made her look at him again as she tried to place his face. He was not a friend or relative or friend of a relative or vice versa, so the only other thing she could guess was that he was in her year or house at Hogwarts, but she couldn't summon his name. Giving him a polite smile, she met his eyes, trying to figure out what it was about him that made him uneasy and want to clutch her unborn child.

Angelius smiled an almost cold smile as he turned to her, letting her eyes meet his dark one. "Hello," he said slyly, staying where he was and keeping his hands in his pockets. "It is good to see you. It's been so long, my fellow Slytherin."
