Jordy was dressed in magenta robes, her pregnant stomach bulging slightly in front of her. Approaching the desk of the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister, who incidentally was her best friend Hayden, she smiled “Hey babe. I’ve got an appointment with the Minister.”
Quill and parchment in hand, she walked gracefully into the Minister’s office. “Good day, Mrs. Geller,” she was greeted by Christina. “Have a seat.”
“Thank you,” Jordy nodded, sitting down. “Is there a reason you wished to see me?”
“Indeed,” Christina said, leaning back in her chair. “There have been some nasty rumors going around, you have heard them, I trust?”
“Naturally,” Jordy inclined her head, thinking of the Dark things she had heard to be happening. “You wish me to investigate?”
“No,” Christina shook her head. “I want you to publish something to squash those rumors.”
Jordy kept her face clear of emotion as she accepted the Minister’s orders.
